(KLZA)--The Nebraska State Fire Marshal's office is investigating two fires in Falls City on property owned by the same individual.
Multiple emergency responders were called to the scene of a fire at 1203 Lane Street shortly after 9:20 Saturday night. A garage located near the alley on the property was on fire. Then Sunday evening, a house fire was reported at 1223 Lane Street.
According to the Falls City Police Department, Joshua Darden is the owner of both properties.
Assistant Fire Chief Jon McQueen said the Falls City Volunteer Fire Department, Falls City Rural Fire Department, Falls City Police Department, Richardson County Sheriff’s Department, Falls City Volunteer Ambulance Squad, Richardson County Emergency Management and the Falls City Utility Department all responded to the Saturday evening fire call. No injuries were reported. The garage was heavily damaged.
Shortly before 9:15 Sunday evening fire fighters were called to the scene of the house fire. It appears the home was being remodeled.
No other details about the fires have been made available at this time.
