(KAIR)-- A two-vehicle collision in Atchison Wednesday afternoon sent an Atchison woman to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says it happened at the intersection of North 11th and Mound Streets shortly before 1:30.
The Patrol says 33-year-old Bendena resident Joanna Pierce was westbound on Mound Street in a Ford Explorer when she failed to stop for a stop sign and pulled into the path of northbound Nissen Altima on 11th Street driven by 21-year-old Hailey Hundley.
Hundley was transported to the Atchison Hospital with unspecified injuries. Pierce was not hurt.
The Patrol says both women were wearing seatbelts at the time of the wreck.
