(KNZA)--A sport utility vehicle stolen from Hiawatha has been recovered.
Police Chief John Defore told MSC News Monday that the 2012 Chevy Suburban reported stolen last Thursday evening from downtown Hiawatha was found Friday in Horton.
Defore says a suspect has been identified in the case and an arrest warrant could be issued Monday. He said they are also on the lookout for another individual, identified as a white male, in connection with the case.
Defore says the Horton Police Department is assisting in the investigation.
Leads were developed after two suspects were captured on video surveillance allegedly using a debit card that had been left inside the unlocked vehicle.
