Buchanan Co Paving Project Delayed
08/05/2015

(KAIR)--A road resurfacing project on Interstate 29 in Buchanan County has been delayed.

According to a release from the Missouri Department of Transportation, work crews were scheduled to start milling and repaving a stretch of I-29 between Business Route 71 in Andrew County and and 1.5 miles south of Route O in Buchanan County on July 27th. However, weather delays on other projects have pushed the start date back.
MoDot is hoping to start work Sunday morning, but there is a chance that weather may delay that for at least one or two days.

The on and off ramps will also be resurfaced, and every effort will be made to keep them open during the work.

Motorists should follow signs posted along the interstate that will alert them to the upcoming work. All work will be conducted at night after peak travel times, and should be completed each morning by 6:00.
