(KAIR)--A single vehicle wreck on U.S. Highway 73, just west of the city of Atchison Thursday afternoon sent three to the hospital.
Sheriff Jack Laurie says 15-year-old Horton resident Jenna Marie Pennington was driving a pickup truck westbound on U.S. Highway 73 when she attempted to roll up a window, the vehicle went off the road onto the right shoulder causing Pennington to overcorrect. The vehicle then crossed the eastbound lane into the ditch where it rolled.
Pennington and her two passengers, 52-year-old Ivan Pennington and 7-year-old Garrett Pennington, both of Horton, were transported by Atchison County EMS to the Atchison Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The wreck was reported just after 12:40.
