(KNZA)--A Hoyt man was injured Thursday afternoon when his motorcycle crashed as he was exiting U.S. 24 Highway in Jefferson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 49-year-old Billie Todd Jr. was exiting to K-4 Highway at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his Harley Davidson motorcycle and crashed shortly after 2:30.
Todd, who wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time of the wreck, was transported to Topeka’s Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center with unspecified injuries.
