Richardson County Fair Week

(KLZA)-- The Richardson County Fair will be held in Humboldt September 17th – 19th.  The Humboldt Fall Festival and Coronation Program will be held on Wednesday, September 16th at 7 p-m on the stage in the City Square Park in Humboldt. The theme this year is “The Hills Are Alive.”

At 11 a-m each day of the Richardson County Fair a parade will be held around the square in Humboldt.  Also each day there will be free entertainment on the stage in the park at 2 p-m and 8 p-m. 

This years entertainment will be: Goldwing Express on Thursday. The band made up of three brothers and their father will honor their Native American Heritage with a segment of their show. Their show will feature contemporary favorites to historic blue-grass.

Friday “The Browns”, an award winning group will perform a family style gospel show.  Saturday, the “Outlaw Road Band” will bring a high energy performance to the stage. The Omaha based band will play everything from dance floor favorites to all the new hits you hear on the radio.  

Other highlights include the exhibits on display at the Ag Building, the Southeast Nebraska Community Band will perform at 6:30 p-m Thursday evening with the Farm Family Awards to be presented at 7:30 p-m. 

Saturday there is an antique tractor show all day around the square.
