Falls City Schools Earn Monsanto Grant

(Falls City)-- Falls City Public Schools have been chosen to receive an America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education grant of $25,000, which will be used to enhance our math and science department at the Middle School.

Many thanks to Mrs. Leyden, Mr. Vrtiska, Mr. Lampe, and Mrs. Hogue who prepared the successful application, and to the local farmers and families who supported our application.

A check presentation celebration will be held prior to the Auburn at Falls City football game on Friday, September 25th at Jug Brown Stadium. The presentation will be at 6:40 p-m.

These local farmers supported the Falls City School Districts application.
