(KAIR)--The Kansas Department of Transportation is warning Leavenworth County residents of a lane closure on Santa Fe Trail/Leavenworth County Road 14, starting Wednesday.
According to a release from KDOT, north and southbound Santa Fe Trail/Leavenworth County Road 14 will be reduced to one lane for patching and overlay work, during daylight hours. Some patching work will also take place on Lowemont Road during this time.
The work is expected to be completed by October 7th.
Traffic will be directed through the project work zone via a pilot car and flagger operation. Drivers should expect delays of up to fifteen minutes, and should allow extra time for their commute.
