(KLZA)-- The Pawnee County Commissioners met with Treasurer, Cheryl Dahlgren, Tuesday. Dahlgren provided them with a list of distress warrants that were turned over to the Sheriff for collection. She also presented the Board with a listing of County Tax Sale Certificates for 2015 and an uncollected tax list for 2014.
The Board recessed at 9:30 a.m. for the Board of Equalization hearing to set the levies for the 2015-2016 fiscal year.
Chris Rauner, Hwy Superintendent met with the Board to review the Nebraska Board Classifications Standardized System Annual Reporting report which was signed. A contract for Mainelli Wagner and Associates to complete comparisons was tabled and Commissioners signed easements for a project between Pawnee County and Dennis and Lori Gyhra and Pawnee County and Donald Luedders.
The Board reviewed and approve the cost share project with Marshall County, Kansas regarding a bridge replacement west of 607 Avenue on 702 Road..
County officials, Jon Bailey, Cheryl Dahlgren, Jennifer Stehlik Ladman, Candi Nicholas, Jayme Reed and Chris Rauner met with the Board and discussed the County Handbook.
