(KLZA)-- On Thursday, November 5, the Falls City FFA chapter traveled to the Lincoln City Misson for a community service project.
The FFA officers and a few members helped with a coat
drive sponsored by Raising Canes. The students sorted coats, picked up trash at the missions gym, and helped with the Christmas festive the Misson center is holding. By the time the day ended we had three and a half hours of community service to help provide clothing for people for winter, a warm meal and a place to stay.
According to Chapter reporter the students were truly thankful that they could make a difference in a life.
Participating from the Falls City FFA Chapter were Dylan Frederick, Jared Frederick, Cody Frederick, Dayton Mellage, Erik Eickhoff, Jake Brewer, Megan Eickhoff, Megan Vollmer, Sydney Brewer and Brooke Lotter.
