Registration Is Now Open For The Governor's Conference On The Future of Water in Kansas
Registration is Open!!! The annual Governor’s Conference on the Future of Water in Kansas will be held November 8-9, 2017 at the Hilton Garden Inn and Conference Center in Manhattan, KS.
Make sure you take a few moments to register as registration is limited and the conference sold out last year.
This is the sixth year for the conference and we are excited to feature new events. To build off the success of last year, there will be a Kick-off Reception Tuesday night, November 7. Based on feedback from previous conference attendees, Day One of the conference will be a slightly different format, and breakouts sessions will be featured in addition to the Day Two concurrent sessions.
Day 1 the conference will highlight the following themes:
v Water and Emergency Response
v Ag- Municipal Partnerships
v Changing Climate and Response
v Water Policy & Governance around the Nation
v Kansas Water Vision
In addition to the above topics, speakers will also focus on federal regulation processes, water infrastructure and EPA Administrator, Scott Pruitt has been invited as the keynote.
Nominations are now being accepted for the Water Legacy Award and Be the Vision recipients, and the KWO Photo Contest will be a feature again this year.
