A Grant Writing Workshop focusing on Agriculture and Rural Interests will be offered on Friday December 13, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to train and support those who want to discover how to secure funding for projects, programs or initiatives that support farming interests and agriculture organizations while developing confidence in the grant writing abilities of those that attend.
Participants will learn about sources of data, elements of a great grant proposal, practicing the grant application elements and where to find grants related to agriculture and rural interests during the workshop.
The workshop will be led by Nancy Daniels, Community Vitality Specialist with K-State Research and Extension is sponsored by the Meadowlark Extension District and will be held at the Northeast Kansas Heritage Complex south of Holton beginning at 9:30 a.m. and conclude by 3:00 p.m.
Registration is $10.00 per person attending and includes all handouts, refreshment and lunch.
