USD 377 board members had preliminary discussion Monday night at their regular monthly meeting on the future of the pre-school building in Effingham.
The school had mold discovered within the building over the holiday break and Superintendent Steve Wiseman says the students are beginning this semester in a couple extra classrooms in their central office. WISEMAN PRESCHOOL RT: :33 OC: "…total replacement." The board also received an offer on their old central office, however, in light of the current situation, the board elected to table the sale of the building for the immediate future. In other action, the board also hired two custodians and a regular route bus driver.
