Non-life threatening injuries are suffered by a Horton woman, following the discharge of a firearm Thursday morning.
Horton Police Chief Beau Hasenohr says it happened around 8:30 in the morning(Play Audio 14 secs)
Hasenohr is reluctant to immediately release the victim's name, but she's expected to make a full recovery after the shooting to the foot.
He says the Hiawatha Police Department assisted with the incident.
