A traffic stop Friday evening leads to the alleged discovery of several drugs and the arrest of a rural Valley Falls woman.
According to Jefferson County Undersheriff Bob Chartier (Shar-teer), Cynthia Willard was stopped by a deputy near 86th and Ferguson Road in rural Ozawkie.
Upon a search of the vehicle, the deputy discovered empty and full baggies alleged to be marijuana and content alleged to be methamphetamine.
She was then booked in the Jefferson County Jail on the felony charges of possession of marijuana and possession of meth with intent to distribute.
She also faces misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with a law enforcement officer.
A male in her vehicle fled the scene and has not been apprehended.
Willard remains in jail on 15 thousand dollars bond and awaits formal charges.
