The Jackson County Sheriff's Department has issued an alert for Southeastern Jackson County, as they seek a suspect believed to be involved with area burglaries.
According to a press release, the man is identified as husky, possibly Hispanic, or dark complected, 30 to 40 years old, standing 5 foot 8 to 5 foot 9.
He is reported to be driving a silver or gray sub-compact passenger car.
However, he's also been seen behind the wheel of a Chevy S-10 Pick-up truck of an unknown color.
Authorities have reason to believe the suspect committed burglaries in Jefferson County near the Jackson County line.
He's also suspected of attempting to burglarize a shed on 110th road, east of Hoyt.
Recently, the man was seen in the 158th and X.4 area, telling residents that he lives in Topeka, and is looking for property to purchase.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office asks that anyone who sees the man to notify the Sheriff's office immediately at 785-364-2251.
