Forest City Man Injured in Wednesday Morning Accident

(KTNC) - A Forest City, Missouri man was seriously injured in an accident north of St. Joseph this (Wednesday) morning.
 According to the Missouri State Patrol, 22-year-old Alik Hughes lost control of his pickup as he was driving northbound on 169 about three miles north of St. Joseph at 7:50 a.m.
 The Patrol says the pickup went off the road and vaulted into an embankment, coming to rest the passenger side.  Hughes, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle.
 Hughes was flown by helicopter to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph with serious injuries.
