( KNZA )-A young former Goff man has died from injuries received in a single-vehicle roll-over accident Friday in Atchison County.
Mike Flewelling died Saturday at the K-U Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas on what would have been his 20th birthday.
Flewelling was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 43-year-old mother, Ute Cashman of Riverside, Mo., which crashed on U.S. 73 near Lancaster late Friday morning.
Flewelling and another passenger, 18-year-old Shyann Marie Cannon of Goff, was flown from the scene to the K-U Med Center. A hospital spokesman said Cannon was listed in serious condition as of Monday afternoon.
The Patrol says neither was wearing a seatbelt.
Cashman, who was wearing a seatbelt, was treated at the Atchison Hospital for possible injuries.
Services for Flewelling will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
