(KTNC) - The UNL Extension Office in Richardson County is sponsoring a Precision Ag Workshop early in the New Year. The workshop will be held at the Ag Building in Humboldt on Saturday, January 5th. Registration that day begins at 9:45 a.m., with the program to start at 10:15.
Guest speakers Richard Ferguson and Joe Luck will speak on topics including yield data, practical technologies for savings, spatial soils, and making agronomic decisions.
Ferguson is a soil fertility specialist at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and Luck is a precision agricultural engineer at UNL.
The workshop costs $15, which includes materials and lunch.
Pre-registration is required by January 2nd. For more information or to register, contact Extension Educator Lindsay Chichester at 402-245-4324.
In case of bad weather, the program will be held on January 26th.
