( KMZA )-Wetmore residents will have a chance to ask questions and receive information about a U.S. Postal Service proposal to cut window hours at the Wetmore Post Office to four hours daily, Monday through Friday.
The meeting will be held Tuesday, February 26th at 1 p.m. at the American Legion Building in Wetmore.
Currently, the Wetmore Post Office window hours are from 8 to noon and from 1:30 to 4 Monday through Friday. In addition, the post office is open Saturday morning from 8 to 9.
Similar public meetings are planned in Whiting and Mayetta next month on a proposal to reduce their post office hours.
They will be held Thursday, March 7th in the Whiting Methodist Church basement and then on Tuesday, March 12th at the Mayetta City Hall. Both meetings will be at 1 o’clock.
