( KNZA )-A Hiawatha man has pleaded not guilty to drug-related charges.
William Thomas entered the plea Monday in Brown County District Court to charges of possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.
A jury trial was set for June 5-6th.
A co-defendant in the case, Malinda Pattengall of Hiawatha,was given a suspended prison sentence last month on charges in the case and placed on 18 months probation.
The pair were arrested last June by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department following the execution of a search warrant on a residence at 507 Delaware Street in Hiawatha. Deputies obtained the search warrant after responding to a domestic dispute at the residence.
