Minor Injuries Following Brown Co Crash
02/28/2013

(KNZA)--Only minor injuries following a Wednesday morning two vehicle Brown County crash.

Sheriff John Merchant says it happened around 7:30, on 290th Road between Bittersweet and Coyote Roads, when a Volkswagen and Nissan pickup collided.

The driver of the pickup, 29-year-old Travis Davis, of Falls City, was cited for not wearing a seatbelt and for driving at speeds unsafe for the conditions.

The car was driven by 41-year-old Stacey Ploeger, of Morrill.  Merchant says she, and other occupants in the Volkswagen, were buckled up.

Although minor injuries were reported, no one was transported for hospitalized treatment.

Merchant says assistance was provided by area emergency responders, along with the Sabetha Police Department and the Kansas Highway Patrol.
