(KLZA) The staff and administration of Falls City High School have announced the selections for March High School Students of the Month. The honors go to the following students:
Upperclassmen- Rasmus Nurmimen, a senior, is the son of Kari Nurminen and Anna-Maria Salokaski. His host parents are Lonnie and Kim Goff. Kirstyn Buchholz, a junior, is the daughter of Kent and Julie Buchholz.
Underclassmen- Morgen Valentine, a freshman, is the son of Ernie and Laurel Valentine. Maygan Ramsey, a sophomore, is the daughter of Doug and Christine Ramsey.
The students were nominated by high school staff on their academic achievements, attitude, classroom contributions and work ethic. Each of the students was praised in nomination comments for “academic excellence, going above and beyond what was asked of them, their helpfulness, and their leadership, and serving as excellent role models for their peers,” according to high school principal Gale Dunkhas.
