(KAIR) -- An Atchison credit union is offering incentives to young customers in an effort to educate them on savings.
River Cities Community Credit Union is celebrating National Credit Union Youth Savings Week.
Manager Bev McConaughey stresses the importance of starting saving at a young age.

The youth that participate in those events will be entered for prizes locally and nationally.
Youth under 18 are encouraged to participate in the youth week event at the credit union in the 600 block of the Commercial Street Mall on Wednesday where refreshments and prize opportunities will be offered.
McConaughey says River Cities currently has 114 members under 20.
