(KLZA) U-S Senator Deb Fischer took the oath of office in January after Nebraska voters elected her last November in a tough race with former Senator Bob Kerrey.
Fischer has been appointed to serve on the Armed Services Committee and the Commerce Committee in her first term. She noted in a visit to Falls City Tuesday her fascination with the work done on the Armed Services Committee. ( play audio :20 seconds)
