( KMZA )--An August jury trial has been set for a Wetmore man facing multiple charges.
32-year-old Cassidy Grimm pleaded not guilty in Nemaha County District Court to five felony counts—including aggravated kidnapping, aggravated burglary, aggravated battery, criminal threat and burglary. He’s also charged with misdemeanor theft.
A jury trial has been scheduled for August 19th-21st.
Grimm was arrested last October by the Sabetha Police Department. He’s accused of breaking into the home of his ex-wife, holding her against her will, battering her, and threatening her and children in the home.
Grimm eventually left the residence, giving the victim time to notify law enforcement.
He remains in the Nemaha County Jail on $100,000 bond.
