(KAIR) -- A 23-year-old Blue Springs man takes a plea deal after leading multiple agencies on a multiple county chase that began in Missouri and ended in Nemaha County.

Trenton Wiseman pled guilty to felony fleeing and eluding and driving while suspended Monday in Atchison County District Court.

In exchange, charges of aggravated battery, aggravated assault, felony theft and several traffic violations were dismissed.

He and another man were arrested in late April after leading agencies on a chase that originated with authorities on the Amelia Earhart Bridge in Atchison, through Atchison neighborhoods and west on Highway 73 before becoming stuck on a Nemaha County road.

Sentencing for Wiseman is set for June 24th.

The other man, 29-year-old Jacob Abney of Belton, Missouri, is charged with felony fleeing and eluding and felony theft for his alleged role in the Kansas chase.

He’s set to make his next appearance in court May 24th.

KQ2 news reports that the chase began on Platte County Road M where vehicles were allegedly stolen by the duo from separate properties.

It went through rural Buchanan County and Rushville before the vehicle Abney was believed to be driving crashed on Mud Lake Road near Winthrop.

This came after relatives of one of the believed to be stolen vehicles were chasing the duo.

Abney currently faces charges in Platte County for first degree tampering with a motor vehicle as the result of the alleged incident.
