(KAIR)--Although the Brown County Free Fair is first, kicking off its 95th year Tuesday in Horton, plans are in the works for Atchison County's celebration of 4-H efforts in August.
The 107th annual Atchison County Fair will be held August 6th through 10th in Effingham, with pre-fair events to get underway at the end of this month.
That leads up to the actual fair week, including entertainment nightly and the annual parade on the evening of August 6th.
The 2013 Atchison County Fair catalog, and all related information, is now posted online at thenewsleaf.com.
As for Brown County's celebration, it will run through Friday, including the annual parade, through downtown Horton, at 6:30 Tuesday evening.
