( KNZA )--A jury trial has been set for a 24-year-old Horton man accused of committing a sex act with a child born in 2002.
Wyatt Brown pleaded “ not guilty” Monday in Brown County District Court to a charge of aggravated criminal sodomy.
A jury trial was set for August 13th-15th.
Brown was arrested in March following a joint investigation by the Horton Police Department, Brown County Sheriff’s Department and Kansas Highway Patrol.
He is a registered sex offender, convicted in 2006 in Brown County on a charge of aggravated indecent liberties with an 11-year-old girl.
Brown remains in the Brown County Jail on $750,000 bond.
