(KLZA) The Nemaha County, Nebraska Fair begins Thursday, June 11th and continues through Sunday. The annual fair will include exhibits, entertainment, carnival rides, food and parades.
Thursday events will include the horses show, sheep show, meat goat show and rabbit show. The Thomas D. Thomas Shows will open on the midway at 6 p-m and run through Sunday.
Friday events include the swine show, dairy goat and pygmy goat shows, 4-H Shooting Sports events, the poultry show and at 6 p-m the first parade will be held from the Courthouse to the fairgrounds at 6 p-m.
The Pioneer Farm Family Award will be presented at 8 p-m followed by the Travis Marvin Show in the grandstand.
Saturday events include the bucket calf show and beef show, Clover Kids pet show; the horse and livestock judging contests and the final fair parade at 6 p-m.
At 7 p-m they Little Tuggers tractor pull takes place. The City Limit Band will perform from 7 – 8:30 p-m with the Landslide and Saucy Jack performing from 9 – 12:30 a-m.
Sunday is the ATV and Tractor driving contest. The McIninch Judging Trophy and 4-H Herdsmanship awards will be presented at 4:30 p-m. followed by the 4-H premium sale and the auction of the Log Hoggers wood sculpture.
The Log Hoggers will present 4 shows daily at 11 a-m, 2 p-m, 4 p-m and 7 p-m of their log carving.
