(KTNC) - A chance this weekend for parents and other caregivers to make sure child safety seats are installed in their vehicles correctly.
Nationally certified child passenger safety technicians from Safe Kids will be at Community Medical Center in Falls City from 9:00 a.m. till noon Saturday. Safe Kids’ Southeast Coordinator Laura Osborne says they will be in the north end of the CMC parking lot.
Osborne says that over the past 13 years, they have seen that about 85-percent of all car seats are installed incorrectly. She says their technicians work with parents, grandparents, and other caregivers to learn how install child safety seats correctly themselves.
