( KMZA )--The Pottawatomie County Sheriff Department is investigating a stabbing reported early Sunday morning at Pottawatomie County State Lake # 2.
Sheriff Greg Riat says deputies responded around 2 Sunday morning to a report of a person being stabbed at the lake located at 8010 State Lake Road in the Manhattan area.
Riat says the victim, a 23 year old male from Manhattan, was later located at a Manhattan hospital being treated for a non life threatening injury.
The victim reported to deputies that he had been involved in a fight with a white male. Riat says the victim did not know the suspect, but stated the suspect was upset because the victim had his radio turned up too loud.
The suspect is described as a white male, 16-18 years of age, standing 6 feet tall, weighing 170 to 180 pounds, with curly blond hair. He was wearing a bluish or greenish colored shirt. No further description is available.
