(KAIR)--The Atchison County Community Schools Board of Education approved its 2013-2014 budget Monday evening.
District Superintendent Steve Wiseman says the vote was unanimous, with the general fund budget set at $5,073,068 dollars.
Wiseman says the mill levy is projected to be 42.92 mills, an increase of about a half of a mill over last year.
In other business, the board approved a new bus driver salary schedule, which will result in a 2 to 2.5 percent salary increase for the drivers.
