( KNZA )--No injuries were reported Tuesday morning when a car struck the back of a school bus with 28 children on board on a Jefferson County road about 3 ½ miles northeast of Perry.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports a 2006 International school bus driven by 56-year-old Susan Hack of Topeka was south on Oak Road and had pulled over to stop and let the car go by. The driver of the car, 18-year-old Robert Brandenburg of Perry, struck the back of the bus shortly after 7:30.
Minor damage was reported to the bus belonging to the Perry-Lecompton school district.
