(KAIR)--According to city of Atchison officials, the first demolition blast for the former U.S. 59 Amelia Earhart bridge that was originally set for next Monday, September 23rd, has been rescheduled by the Kansas Department of Transportation. The first blast is now tentatively scheduled for Monday, September 30th. A time has not been set, but we will keep you updated with the latest information as it becomes available.
