(KAIR)--UPDATE: Investigators with the Metro Squad learned late in the day Tuesday that the death of Tangela Fisher is believed to have occurred in St. Joseph. Missouri. The Metro Squad has turned over the investigation to the St. Joseph, Missouri Police Department.

Officials in Platte County, Missouri are investigating the mysterious death of 35-year-old St. Joseph woman.
Authorities say Tangela Fisher's body was found near East Dye Store Road in Northern Platte County in a homemade box containing male and female clothing shortly after 10 last Friday morning.
The cause of death is still under investigation. According to Sergeant Jerin Almond, the public information officer for the Platte County Sheriff's office, there were no signs of trauma on the body, but until toxicology are available, the cause of death cannot be known. The Kansas City Metro Squad is currently investigating the death.
