(KMZA)--A 23-year-old man wanted in connection with the armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver in St. Marys is in custody.
Pottawatomie County Sheriff Greg Riat says William Thomas was arrested around 10:30 Friday morning in the Topeka area by the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Department.
Riat says Thomas was brought to the Pottawatomie County Jail where he’s being held on $75,000 bond on a charge of aggravated robbery.
A warrant had been issued Thursday for his arrest in connection with the robbery of a Gambino’s Pizza delivery driver Tuesday night in St. Marys.
Thomas is accused of robbing the delivery driver at knifepoint in the 800 block of Willow Street, and fleeing with money bag containing an unspecified amount of cash and a check.
