Marshall Co Agenices Partner to Sponsor Expo
(KMZA)--The 2013 Baby Boomer 50+ Expo is Saturday ( Sept. 28th ) at the Helvering Center in Marysville.
The event, which will be held from 9 to 1, is for baby boomers and seniors 50 years and older who want to discover the opportunities and services available to them as Marshall County residents. Admission is free.
The Expo will feature a variety of exhibitors and guests speakers from Kansas Legal Services, the Kansas Insurance Commission and the Kansas Attorney General’s office.
Flu shots will be available from the Marshall County Health Department . In addition, free blood pressure screenings will be offered. The event will also offer tours of the Helvering Center, demonstrations, and giveaways. Light snacks will be served.
The event is sponsored by the Marshall County Agency on Aging, RSVP of Northeast Kansas, Marshall County Extension Service, Marshall County Health Department, Cambridge Place, and Community Memorial Healthcare.
