(KTNC) - One Humboldt property has been removed from the list of declared nuisance properties, after action taken by the Humboldt City Council on Tuesday.
The Council approved a resolution rescinding the nuisance declaration against one property that has been cleaned up. Code Enforcer Emily Bausch was not at Tuesday’s meeting, but is scheduled to be at the next council meeting on October 15.
In other action during Tuesday’s meeting, the Humboldt Council approved a resolution prohibiting parking on the east side of Grand Avenue from 10th Street to Highway 4. The city has received complaints of vehicles parked on both sides of the street, making it difficult for traffic to get through the area.
The council also approved a one-day liquor license for Steve Svoboda, for the Humboldt Lions’ Club event at the Ag Building on November 1.
The Humboldt City Council held a special meeting Monday night. During that meeting, the council amended the 2012-13 Water Improvement Budget by $225,000. No one from the public spoke during a public hearing held before the council action Monday night.
