( KMZA )--The Nemaha Central USD 115 Board of Education during a special meeting Thursday evening approved administrative contracts for the 2014-15 and 2015-16 school years.
On a 6-1`vote, the board approved Patrick McKernan as principal of Nemaha Valley High School. Board member Jean Placke cast the opposing vote.
The board approved two-year contracts for Amy Beck as Nemaha Valley Elementary & Middle School principal, and Amy Haussler as Director of the Special Education Cooperative. Both contracts were approved unanimously.
And on a 6-1 vote a two-year contract was approved for Superintendent Darrel Kohlman. Board member Roger Hermesch cast the lone no vote.
The meeting was a continuation of a special meeting held Tuesday evening which included a two hour long executive session.
