Falls City and Pawnee City Receive Housing Rehab Grants

 (KLZA) -- The Nebraska Department of Economic Development has awarded $2.325 million as part of the 2013 Nebraska Affordable Housing Program to nine communities to pursue owner-occupied rehab housing projects.

Falls City and Pawnee City have each been awarded $310,000 to rehab ten homes. Homeowners earning at or below 80 percent of the Area Median Family Income are eligible to receive funding from the grants.

In Pawnee City interested residents may contact City Clerk Tamela Stephens at 402-852-2781 or pcityhall@neb.rr.com.
