Outdoor Marijuana Grow Leads To Search Warrant
10/14/2013

(KAIR)--The discovery of an outdoor marijuana growing operation earlier this month in Jefferson County has led to an additional search warrant being served.

Jeremiah Teller and Michael Fuller were arrested October 4th in connection with a marijuana growing operation near Valley Falls. According to a press release from the Jefferson County Sheriff's office, that arrest has lead authorities conducting the investigation to 2638 Ferguson Road in Perry. A search warrant was then served for that location.

The release says that aside from the 37 plants taken in the outdoor grow location, the residence yielded an indoor growing operation. Authorities seized another 105 marijuana plants in different stages of growth, along with paraphernalia used to grow the plants, from the location. A smaller outdoor growing site was also found behind the residence, which yielded another 30 marijuana plants.

At this time, the total amount of marijuana plants seized is 172. Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Herrig says the investigation is ongoing.
