(KLZA) -- It was a short meeting for Richardson County Commissioners Tuesday. Board members conducted their business and adjourned in just over 90 minutes.
Highway Superintendent Scott Huppert updated Commissioners on road and bridge projects and brought them up to speed on the Preston Road project and a Humboldt bridge project that is nearing completion.
Sealed bids for replacement of the collapsed bridge Northwest of Humboldt will be opened November 12th at 11 a-m.
Board members also discussed seeking bids for the purchase of a motor grader. A permit for an overweight vehicle to travel on county roads and bridges for Fahsholtz Movers / Quality Homes Inc. north from 702 Road going four miles on 633 Avenue then east on Highway 8 and 706 Road for a mile then back north on 634 Avenue for a mile and a quarter then east on 707 Trail for a quarter mile was unanimously approved.
Commissioners also entered into an agreement with Time Warner Cable Midwest to install a service line into the Southeast Nebraska Community Action Council Office in the Courthouse.
