Peru State College to Host Show Choir Festival

(KTNC) - Peru State College expects 27 high school show choirs from Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas will attend its 42nd Annual Show Choir Festival next week.
     Performances are scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday in the College Theatre. Awards will be presented for the best high school show choir in each class. The performances are free and open to the public.
     Among the choirs that will participate, Sabetha High School’s Infinity choir will perform at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and Sabetha’s Odyssey choir will perform at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday. 
     On Wednesday, Pawnee City’s Showstoppers will perform at 8:00 a.m., Atchison’s Adrenaline will perform at 9:30 a.m., Southern High School’s Southern Harmony choir will perform at 3:00 p.m., and Auburn’s Rhythm in Red will perform at 3:30 p.m.
      Peru State's own show choir, the Misty Blues, will perform at 11 a.m. Tuesday and at 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
