(KNZA)-A Lawrence-based global manufacturing firm is expanding its operations to Elwood.
Pro-Dig LLC is building a state-of-the-art $4 million facility on ten-acres in the Doniphan County community.
Pro-Dig President and CEO Michael Charlton told the Kansas Chief the company will initially employee 10 at the Elwood facility, and will expand to 25 employees eventually.
According to the company’s website, Pro-Dig manufactures a broad range of hydraulic drive heads, augers, drive tools and the Intelli-Tork monitoring system.
Pro-Dig began the manufacture of hydraulic drive heads in 1999 from its UK facility. In 2006, Pro-Dig expanded its manufacturing and engineering resources to a site in Lawrence to serve its North, South and Central American markets. The company exports to 25 countries world-wide.
