Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. Sheldon Lyon says 28-year-old Eric Auxier of Gower died Thursday evening.
Lyon says Auxier was shot after he rammed a Buchanan County sheriff's deputy's car. Another deputy inside the car was injured. He was treated and released at a hospital.
The pursuit began in St. Joseph and ended in Amazonia, in Andrew County. Two other suspects in the car were arrested and are being held in the Andrew County jail.
