Senator Roberts Expresses Concerns On Health Care
11/08/2013

Repbulican U.S. Senator Pat Roberts, of Kansas

(KAIR)--Kansas Republican Senator Pat Roberts made a stop in Atchison Friday to attend a private reception with supporters of his 2014 re-election campaign.

Before he met with his supporters however, he took some time to answer some questions regarding the current problems with the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare as it is more commonly known. Roberts first stated that there are some questions as to how many of the problems with the system did President Obama know of before it was rolled out.

The Senator is also of the opinion that the problems can be fixed, but it is going to take some work.

Roberts said we need to renew our commitment to health care in this country, but we have to do it in such a way that people can keep their insurance and the doctor of their choice.

Roberts said putting together a health care plan that does not head toward economic disaster is possible, and that Obamacare would more than likely kill the small market insurance people.
