(KTNC) - A trailer full of toys was collected Sunday during the 7th Annual Jingle Bell Ride in Falls City.
Horseback riders fanned out on five routes around town to collect toys that will be given to children and families served by SENCA in Richardson County.
According to event organizer Sherry Huddleston, 92 people donated enough toys to fill an 18-foot trailer.
Huddleston says there are several ways people can still donate gifts or adopt a family for the holiday. People can contact the SENCA office in Falls City or contact Sherry Huddleston at 402-245-3191.
There will also be a tree at Shopko, a tree and a box at Personal Care, and a donation box at Dollar General.
Anyone who would like to receive a holiday basket can fill out an application at the SENCA office.
Huddleston says they had participants Sunday from area churches and several Girl Scout troops.
