Water Main Breaks In West Atchison
(KAIR)--Water customers in the west side of Atchison may experience some loss of service today (Monday) as city crews work to repair a water main break. According to City manager Trey Cocking, the main is located near the old Wal Mart on US59. Crews will have to shut down service in order to repair the main, but Cocking says they are hoping to have everything fixed and service restored as soon as possible.
Update:The broken line is a private line near Cash Saver. The contractor is onsite making repairs now and water tower levels are recovering.
